The Indie Art and Craft Show Islamabad is set to celebrate Happiness is Handmade with creative crafts and handmade work in the capital on Sunday 12th December, 2021.
Events of this nature are a necessity and hope to uplift and inspire small scale businesses, encouraging them to pursue their passion and believe in their dreams. While the market for crafts is still at an infancy stage in Pakistan, small scale enterprise and cottage scale businesses are certainly paving way for prosperity and growth.
The event is special, more so as it caters to women led initiatives. As part of its vision to empower and support creative businesses, The Crafter’s Guild has also conducted a training for participants to help them with capacity building, marketing, personal development and more not just for the event, but their prospective growth.
Partners include MOCCA (F11 Islamabad) where the event is hosted, Avari Xpress, The Travel Diary, The Pakistani Sisters, Connected Women Pakistan, Women of Wonder Pakistan, and Esnaf, the online marketplace for makers and Creatives. With faith in Made in Pakistan, such platforms can catapult ventures for creative entrepreneurs to immense success.
