Union Coop receives top officials from ‘Unilever’ at Hessa street branch

The largest Consumer Cooperative in the UAE – Union Coop received multinational Consumer Goods Company ‘Unilever’ as part of the cooperative’s endeavors to strengthen partnerships with leading companies in the field of retail trade and to familiarize them with the advanced work mechanisms that they currently follow per the international standards and their plans to expand and spread in the future.

Visiting delegation from Unilever was represented by Mr. Alan Jope – Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nitin Paranjpe – Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sanjiv Kakkar – Executive Vice President Unilever Arabia, MENA, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus & Turkey, who were received by Mr. Harib Mohammed Bin Thani, Operations Division Director, Mr. Majiruddin Khan, Trading Division Director and Mrs. Sana Gul – Trade Development Sec. Mgr from Union Coop, in the presence of employees from both sides.

Mr. Harib Mohammed Bin Thani and Mr. Majiruddin Khan gave a comprehensive tour of the Hessa Street branch explaining to them the most important services that the cooperative provides to shoppers, in which it follows the best practices applied in the field of food retailing, delivery, customer happiness services, expansion strategies and digital solutions for retail to be the best consumer cooperative in the field of retail trade, in addition to updating them of information about the culture of retail trade in the Union Coop and the digital solutions it follows to provide goods to consumers, they also discussed ways to enhance trade cooperation between the two parties for the near future.
