With more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Siraj is an industry powerhouse with international recognition for his professional acumen. His extensive career has seen him work with renowned industry leaders including the Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, Taj Hotels, Resort & Palaces, Grosvenor House – A Luxury Collection Hotel, and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai.
Siraj is committed to impactful results and boasts a healthy competitive streak. Over the years, he has orchestrated impactful business, sales, and marketing initiatives that drove business growth as well as boosted brand awareness. He is also an inspirational leader, having spearheaded a team of 13 sales & marketing professionals.
One of Siraj’s most notable career highlights is strategically achieving the pre-opening budgets, and maintaining them with annual double-digit growth, at the Anantara Resorts in Oman. His commendable approach was also recognised when he received the distinguished title of Minor 2019 Sales Leader Of The Year for his outstanding performance and driving luxury business into Salalah.
In his current role as Director of Sales & Marketing at Sofitel Dubai Downtown, Siraj will direct the hotel’s sales and marketing policies while simultaneously helping it achieve, and exceed its business objectives. He will also guide the hotel’s sales and marketing executives, helping them progress in their own roles and careers.
