World Memon Organisation North America Chapter has donated to the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation (TMWF), an institution which empowers and supports women. Fireplace logs, heaters, comforters, bedsheets, emergency lights, blood pressure monitors and hygiene products were delivered to their women’s shelter home.
Mrs. Zahida Toufiq Ahmed, board and ladies wing member was the driving force behind the donation drive. TMWF sent a note of gratitude, thanking WMO for the warm gesture in freezing times.
The WMO has been formed as an international umbrella organisation in order to unite Memon organisations, institutions, corporate bodies, associations, jamaats and individuals.
