My name is Asma Abdul Salam and I am a home chef. I have a passion for cooking. I have a loving husband and two children in my family and I have full responsibility to take care of them. I have been interested in cooking since school days. A magazine used to come (Dalda ka Dastarkhuwan).

Once I wrote my recipe in it and sent it, they liked it and they not only published it in their magazine but also declared it the first position / was very happy and my spirits soared and I started writing my techniques in magazines like I started writing my studies, I learned to apply henna, took a beautician’s course and worked as a Salon in my home. While studying, I got married and after marriage I completed my education and completed my Masters. I also taught at the school for a while.

Then a friend of mine who lives in the U.S.A told me that I sell clothes online, so join me. I started my own business called “GLITZ FOREVER”, created a Facebook page, made contact with dealers and wholesale marketers, placed tailors, and started receiving orders. One day I went to the Expo Center and met a woman who was sitting in a clothes stall. She said that she was a member of a Government Organization (Handicrafts Association of Pakistan). They asked me to join them so I joined. Then in different cities. Where there were exhibitions, our Association would give us stalls at a discount. I setup a lot of stalls, sometimes with profit and sometimes with loss.

I used to take home cooked meals to the stall and feed them to my colleagues, which everyone liked. I saw in every show (exhibition) that food definitely sells, I thought why not start a food business, I have a hobby and people like it. Then, in January 2017, I started my own homemade food business called “CREATIVE CUISINE”. I created my Facebook page, created my Instagram account, created my YouTube channel. The first Facebook group I joined was “HOMEMADE FOOD SERVICES”. From HFS I got a chance to show my work in a café (Coffee Wagera), from there I got a boost, people started recognizing me and my work. Alhamdullilah! The work started and orders were received. we deals in Desi Food, Traditional Sweets, Frozen Food, Wedding and Party dishes. I pay special

attention to the packaging and delivery service which is why our customers are satisfied with us and trust us. I participated in and succeeded in two cooking completions with HFS group and also introduced my work on different TV Channels. I setup a lot of food stalls, participated in a lot of cooking competitions and was successful, just recently I did an IBA Entrepreneurship Development Program Course and there I learned business skills. I have worked hard and I am working hard and I want to send a message to all women to show their talents to the world   .Of course they should do their job at home, but don’t let their abilities rust.
