This is Mehreen Mushtaq kazi. She is the daughter of a bureaucrat and an educationist. Her parents worked hard to achieve their goals and positions.
She was a weak student with weak memory, nerves and health. Her academic and sports record were merely acceptable. Gradually with parents’ support she improved. She wanted to become an artist and astronaut but the time wasn’t favorable for her. She picked ICMAP after graduation for higher studies and started preparations for CSS. She got married and waved off my career for the sake of good.
Her husband was running a school, so she decided to switch towards education after her mother in law’s demise. She had done uncountable certifications and diplomas to learn. She has vast research on “child” as a subject. She had designed training courses for mothers and teachers. While working with husband they joined PSMA and started training in big numbers in underprivileged areas like Orangi Town, Khuda Ki Basti etc. She also raised voice against child abuse as cases were increasing during the time. Now she is working with her husband as “President Women’s Wing”, in “Educational Services Association” with the same motive. Besides that she is running her own school for unprivileged kids, as she believes they need her more.
Her other venture besides education is “Nature’s AURA”. This is a holistic healing project based on “healing”, “one to one counseling” to change thinking patterns and vibrations, “ruqya”, “sound or aromatherapy” and Reiki charged products of any kind.She is Reiki Master and Mind power expert. She has strong intuitions and connections with the universe. She believes that, still we are humans and there is “Superior Power” who has all the authority. We are just mediums.She is certified formulator of natural, personal care products like soaps, shampoo, creams, salves etc. Her products are charged with reiki.
Last but not least, she is working as a freelance writer. She used to write articles in different magazines regarding child nature and nurture. Now restarted with covering event stories in a renowned publication.Her eldest daughter was dyslexic had issues with written work for many years but now she is going to start college and people praise her skills. Her middle one was born with Calcaneovalgus foot, his foot was bent inwards but he is on his feet now. Third is autistic with speech delay and hearing sensitivity but improving slowly.
She has a history of depression and sufferings but she made it her strength and learnt to live along with it. She thinks life must have a purpose and we leave our traces for upcoming generations to add it to their experience. Life is precious. We must enjoy every single minute and stay in the present, the current moment.
