FUJAIRAH: Suffice it to say, fashion enthusiasts were in awe when models wearing Amber Ambrose Aurèle shoes walked during the fashion event organized by the Tennis and Country Club Fujairah. The models showed up on the fashion show runway and dazzled the audience with stylish shoes that distinguish themselves by balancing on the edge of art and fashion.
Amber Ambrose Aurèle, a fashion shoe designer from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, introduced her newest shoes collection during her two days event at TCCF that has the tradition of hosting fashion designers from diverse cultures and backgrounds. TCCF has the tradition of welcoming and organizing events for emerging businesses from around the world and promoting the UAE culture of tolerance and acceptance through different layers of an incredibly multi-cultural society.
Following her signature style for her handmade shoes, Amber Ambrose Aurèle made each shoe with care and attention to detail. While many viewers were simply stunned at the unique and artistic designs of shoes, others expressed how elegant was the newest shoe collection by Amber Ambrose Aurèle. Introducing her iconic shoe, Amber Ambrose Aurèle said, “the design process of my shoes is based on a concept and an artistic expression that provide something new to people who think deeply when they see my work”. She added, “I work mostly with contrast and that is what makes my work strong. I like when people stop and think again about my designs and find something new that they have never seen before”. Pointing at high-end stiletto shoes designed by her, Amber said, “a shoe is not just a shoe. When a woman is wearing a shoe, the dynamics change and so does her feelings. Shoe gives a woman tremendous confidence, purpose, and power for any event”.
The second day of the event was a shoe-making workshop for children. Amber Ambrose Aurèle, also a freelance art teacher in addition to her full-time role as a shoe designer, amazed children with unique ideas of shoemaking. Amber assisted children in their creative shoemaking with her complete attention and care. The workshop ended with a deep feeling of accomplishment, a unique experience, and pure joy for participants.
