Having performed more than 1,500 times worldwide in more than 20 different languages, Kailash Kher and Kailasa Live enjoyed a multi-national audience on Friday, 18 March, 2022 at Expo 2020 Dubai – where amazing cultural performances are staged every day.

Founded by Indian singer and composer, Kailash Kher, the singer’s journey began 15 years ago, with the singer garnering a reputation for making Sufi music more accessible to all ages thanks to the addition of his own personal touch.

Dressed in a gold tunic and red scarf, the pint-sized playback singer mesmerised the audience with some of his latest and greatest hits including Pudhu Saththam from the film Sulthan, and Choti Si Chiraiya from Mimi.

A collaboration with the India Pavilion to celebrate the Holi Festival, the two-time Filmfare award-winner enthused about the festival’s “colour, joy, happiness and togetherness.”

Urging the crowd to “not just sit and watch the concert like you’re watching TV”, he insisted they “lose control!”

Kailash Kher said: “You have to dance and make this wonderful evening most memorable for everyone. This is one of the most historical moments of your lives, so dance your soul away tonight!”
