The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to host conference and exhibition for Hajj and Umrah services from March 21

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with the Program for Serving Guests of Rahman, is organizing a conference and exhibition for Hajj and Umrah services “Transformation towards innovation” on March 21 and will continue until March 23, 2022, under the auspices of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince of Makkah Region, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, which is being held in Jeddah In “Jeddah Superdome”.

Through this conference and the most significant international exhibition of its kind in the Kingdom, the Ministry aims to shed light on the Kingdom’s future projects related to Hajj and Umrah to build effective partnerships to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims. It also strives to focus on shifting towards innovation, to make a quantum leap in line with the developments of both the new Hajj and Umrah strategy and the outputs of the guests of Al-Rahman program. It also seeks to build strategic partnerships with the government and private sectors to work on future projects and support entrepreneurs and innovators through the conference and exhibition.

The conference will also witness the attendance of 20 ministers, the participation of more than 150 government and private agencies, and 40 sessions and workshops in areas such as “The Art of Dealing with Guests of Allah”, “Design Thinking in the Field of Hajj and Umrah”, “Smart Cities” and other specialized workshops. Several experts will attend the conference and exhibition, interested people and innovators working in the field of Hajj and Umrah, and will review the most important and latest topics related to the shift towards innovation and its returns on this vital sector, in addition to submitting recommendations and proposals that will contribute to achieving the sustainability of this vital sector under the Vision of 2030.

The conference begins its first day with an inaugural session entitled “Transformation towards innovation and technology”, followed by a session on “Designing and Improving the Experience of Guests of Allah” and “Innovation and Pioneering Business in Hajj Services”. The second day of the conference will witness three sessions represented in “Measuring the performance of the service of pilgrims and impact analysis”, “Technical Awareness for Guests of Allah, Possible Solutions”, and “Health Protection for Hajj and Umrah Performers”.
