Two high-profile conferences take place this week at Dubai Exhibition Centre, on the fringes of Expo 2020 Dubai as it enters its final few days: the 8th World Government Summit (WGS) and the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM 2022), both held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
WGS, taking place from 29-30 March under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’ is bringing together thought-leaders, global experts and decision-makers from around the globe to share and contribute to the development of tools, policies and models essential in shaping future governments.
Speakers include His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei; Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director, International Monetary Fund; and Arvind Krishna, CEO, IBM.
AIM 2022, running from 29-31 March under the theme ‘Investments in Sustainable Innovation for a Thriving Future’, will host forums on topics such as FDI investment, tech-enabled industries, e-commerce, q-commerce, edutech, health tech, fintech, proptech and entertainment.
