The 27th Dubai Duty Free UAE Nationals Cup saw 42 golfers compete on the Faldo course with was Sara Ali emerged as the overall winner with 35 points at the Emirates Golf Club on Saturday, 7th May.
The format for the day was a Gross and Individual Stableford, with prizes being awarded to the Overall Stableford Winner, Gross Winner, Ladies Winner, Junior Winner and On-Course Special Event.
Runners up in the individual stableford was Sohail Al Marzooqi with 31 points as the 1st runner up, followed by Hassan Al Musharrekh with 31 points to came in the second place. The Ladies winner was Rabab Al Haj with 29 points.

Executive Vice President – Corporate Services of Dubai Duty Free said: “This year marks the 27th running of Dubai Duty Free UAE Nationals Cup and the tournament has grown popular among UAE nationals including junior Emirati golfers. Congratulations to all the winners and special thanks to all our participants and to the Emirates Golf Club for their efforts in ensuring a great day was had by all.”
The overall winner in the Junior category was Abdulla Darwish with 28 points while the best gross prize went to Mohammed Skaik with 27 points.
The on-course prizes were won by Hassan Al Musharrekh for the Men’s Nearest the Pin, while Rashid Al Jassmy won the Men’s Longest Drive. Winning the Ladies Nearest the Pin was Alia Al Emadi, with Aliya Al Qubaisi winning the Ladies Longest Drive.
The tournament was a great success, with Dubai Duty Free continuing their support for all sports and golf in the region. At the prize presentation, Tahlak was joined by Emirates Golf Federation Director General, Akram Skaik.
