The premiere of one of the most awaited movie of the year “Peechay Tou Dekho” took place on 16th June at The Arena Cinema, Karachi amongst the glitz and glam of Pakistani media and was attended by the creme de la creme of showbiz, socialites from K Town and the loving fans with the whole front yard of The Arena Cinema packed to full. The star-studded premiere had the entire cast and crew in attendance in addition to the press and media personnel. The Movie is a Horror comedy with an amazing cast including Yasir Hussain, Nawal Saeed, Aadi Meal Amjad, Waqar Hussain, Sara Ali Khan, Junaid Akhtar, Amir Qureshi, Shariq Mehmood and others. It’s produced by the Eveready Pictures, 3H Vision and Screenshots Productions, Co-written by Syed Atif Ali, Muhammad Yasir and Moonam Majeed and directed by Syed Atif Ali.
Just after the sunset, guests started drizzling on the red carpet area which was dolled in bride red theme. After the lenses started closing on the red carpet, the Invitees made their way in to watch the movie, the Inside was buzzing with laughter spree and later a down pour of warm appraisals was collected by Syed Atif Ali along with the cast for their labour of love.
The movie has seen success since its promotions, creating rising waves for the Karachi premiere on 16th June. Following the premiere, the movie is releasing on 16th June in cinemas across Pakistan. Yasir Hussain and Aadi Adeal Amjad’s horror comedy was expected to give fits of laughter and it did pass the test on the night. All the cast had their fingers crossed to see the beginning of the success story and they were witness to a success night.
Right from the trailer and then teaser reveal, the movie was on the money and audience started ticking days on the calendar to watch the whole show. Spurts of laughter were a constant story for the 2 hours party, but the main Chaplins were Yasir Hussain, Aadi Adeal Amjad and Waqar Hussain with their hilarious roles.
The Movie is a Horror comedy revolving around two friends (Yasir Hussain and Aadi Adeal Amjad) who out of curiosity visit a haunted house and encounter a lady witch played by Waqar Hussain, who lives with two girls (Nawal Saeed and Sara All Khan). The naive curiosity of the two friends turns into a wacky experience of a lifetime. Viewers will also see flashback scenes from the 1970’s where Junaid Akhtar will be seen pairing up with Nawal Saeed. The Movie also features Amir Qureshi, Shariq Mehmood and Asghar Khoso in prominent roles. Yasir Hussain’s character is a young carefree boy based in Hyderabad who loves to enjoy life with his friends. Nawal Saeed has a very different character to her usual roles playing a sweet girl from the 1970’s who is In love with the man of her dreams (Junaid Akhtar). Aadi Adeal Amjad as a dear friend of Yasir, who just takes life as his playground and with an itching wonder ends up into a haunted house facing fright and zombies. Debutant Sara Ali Khan as the sister of Nawal Saeed who loves to sing and dance is also shown in love with Junaid Akhtar. Waqar Hussain is playing a unique character of a lady witch with the most exciting unprecedented experience of his career.
The Movie has 5 beautiful songs, four of them composed by A.Q Artisan, written by Shamim Bazil and sung by Misaal Zaidi, Martina and A.Q Artisan and one song written, composed and produced by Noman Jalal (Hyderabad Kay Cheetay).
