ADA Awards to honour and recognize the Creative Stalwarts that shape our society

LAHORE: ADA Awards 3rd Cycle 2022 ~ 2023 are all set to take place on 03rd February 2023 at Lahore’s historical monument ‘Lahore Fort’, also known as Shahi Qila (Royal Fort). ADA Awards are known for holding their award ceremonies at historical and culturally important venues.

Architecture of Design Art (ADA) was founded in 2008 by Maria Aslam, and after completing a decade in existence ADA Awards (ADA’s 1st Cycle Gala Night) was initiated during 2018 and was held on 19th January 2019. Out of total 32 Categories, 18 were announced winners who received their awards from the President of Pakistan.

ADA’s ‘1st Cycle Gala Night’, which was presided by the President of Pakistan and he supported the initiative of this publication house and lauded their efforts.

The 2nd and 3rd Cycle winners will be announced on the Gala Night that will be held on 03rd February 2023 to be held at ‘Lahore Fort’ inside the Walled City. Kamran Lashari, Director General at Walled City of Lahore Authority will be the Chief Guest at ADA Awards 3rd Cycle 2022 ~ 2023.

List if Jurors for ADA Awards 2022-2023 seems pretty impressive this time around and includes Ejaz Ahed, Seema Jaffer, Marium Ali Baig and Imran Qureshi from Pakistan. Alnoor Mitha and Tanvir Hanan from UK followed by Hira Mohibullah, Nida Rehman and Iftikhar Dadi from USA. Simone Sfriso from Italy,

Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer from Denmark, Shireen Gandhy from India and Jean+Francois D’or from Belgium. This impressive list of Jurors will have selected the winners which will be announced during the gala night.

During this 3rd Cycle Gala Night, apart from honoring the winners, the ADA magazine’s transformation will also be announced. The trophies for this cycle have been designed by renowned sculptor and painter Abdul Jabbar Gull. Other special feature of the evening includes a special musical rendition and performance for these awards.

On her concluding note Maria Aslam founder of ADA said; “ADA remains as the only platform in Pakistan that recognizes and celebrates the creative industry and due its efforts ADA is now reckoned as an activist portal. Join us in celebrating, recognizing and honoring the creative stalwarts that shape our society”.
