KARACHI/DUBAI: Entrepreneur networking events are a great way to promote self-employment as a credible pathway for ladies who are running businesses from home. Such events are most successful when these small businesses get support from the local communities and encouraged by other home makers. MLL’s Entrepreneurs’ Market 2.0 which was organized by Memon Ladies Lounge in leadership with Erum Usman at Cutchi Memon Community Centre, Bahadurabad, was one such successful event, where home entrepreneurs were introduced to the real world of business and they experienced some amazing footfall.
Attendees had some amazing option of Memoni food from authentic Khausa to Khattay Alo, and curry cholas along with traditional dhoklas with chatnis and some western delicacies in desserts like brownies, cakesicles. Kulfi was found to be the hit item of all and was star of the event.
On the other side there was Hashmani Eye Clinic stall with their free eye check up and free goodies for every attendee, unfortunately we missed that part, but we witnessed clothing, stationary and some art and craft stalls . overall a great experience with the conclusion that it was an event organised by ladies for ladies, intending to empower women from all walks of life.
