The fourteenth edition of Verve Rally – an international supercar rally – took place this past weekend on 27th Jan – 1st Feb, covering some of the most stunning and iconic locations in the country. For the first time in the UAE, the rally started at the Nikki Beach Club in Dubai and featured exciting activities and events along the way, including pit stops at AutoPro stations and stunning locations in Sharjah desert, Dubai Marina, Hatta, the Fujairah coastline, Ras al Khaimah, and ended with an epic drive up Jebel Jais for lunch at the highest point in the UAE.
The event was a huge success, with a large turnout of supercar and luxury travel enthusiasts from across the UK, USA and UAE. The rally was organized by Verve Rally, a travel club for passionate car enthusiasts, who have a shared love for high-performance vehicles, luxury travel and adventure.
The rally had the generous support of local businesses including Linen Obsession who are experts in best high-quality linen, bath towels, pillows and duvet covers. The rally also had the support of Mayfairsilk a British brand dealing with pure silk bedding and accessories as well as SGC Wines which presents the best of Bordeaux. The main prize was a €25,000 6L bottle of exquisite SGC wine which was won by a British entrepreneur Angela Middleton MBE.
Nikki Beach Club hosted the press and start-line event which was attended by renowned press and amoungst the attendees was Lara Tabet from Luxury with Lara, singer Shewta Subram and many more.
Other sponsors include AutoPro, an ENOC group of company, and the largest operator of automotive services in the UAE who were delighted to offer their range of services including carwash to the motoring enthusiasts.
The rally offered a unique opportunity for car enthusiasts from around the world to experience some of the most majestic landscapes in the country. The convoy included a range of supercars from Ferrari 812 GTS, McLaren 720S, Lamborghini STO and the likes. The highlight of the event was the drive up Jebel Jais mountain, which offered breathtaking views from the top of the world.
