Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi Dr. Rüdiger Lotz has a special message for women in Pakistan. His video message commemorates with International Women’s Day, which is celebrated all over the world on 08th March.
The German Consul General in Karachi said; “I am proud to share with you that nearly half of staff here in the German consulate in Karachi are women, but we still have to go a long way still to reach the goal of gender equality”.
Dr. Rüdiger Lotz said; “I believe that women’s rights are a measure for a state of a society. Sustainable peace and sustainable development is only possible with a fair share of women.”
He further added by saying; “so let’s fight all together to give women a fair share, wherever in society, be it politics, business, culture or at the universities, school, cities or at villages”.
He concluded with the words; “we wish you a happy Women’s Day”.
