HMR Waterfront unveils 150 feet long National Flag on Shahrah-e-Faisal

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurated a 150-feet long National Flag on Shahrah-e-Faisal. Administrator Karachi Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman, Haji Muhammad Rafiq Pardesi, Chairman HMR Group and Zafar Abbas of JDC were also present.

The National Flag was hoisted in front of the Directorate of Facilities and Procurement, Green Belt. Governor Sindh stated that when he used to visit Istanbul, he had a desire to see a similar national flag in Pakistan, and today that desire has been fulfilled. He mentioned that 18 to 20 more flags of this kind will be installed on various highways in the city.

Governor Sindh expressed that everyone is noticed ahead in their love for Pakistan, and a magnificent display of love through the national flag is worth seeing. Kamran Khan Tessori stated that Imran Khan conspired to divide the people on May 9, but on May 31, we have united the nation through this tallest national flag. He further added that the May 9 incident left a shameful mark on national politics; it was a conspiracy against the integrity and unity of the country that shattered the spirits of every patriot.

He emphasized that the entire nation stands with its armed forces because it is the sacrifices of martyrs that have kept Pakistan standing tall. He thanked Haji Muhammad Rafiq Pardesi for his cooperation in the creation of this flag and expressed hope that a second flag of the same kind would be installed soon. Karachi Administrator Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman stated that Governor Sahib is focused on his mission to make Karachi clean and green, and he used to call continuously inquiring about the flag. Haji Muhammad Rafiq Pardesi stated that this flag is a symbol of our unity, harmony, and national solidarity, and he appreciated Governor Sindh for prioritizing public welfare projects.
