KARACHI: Mr. Muhammad Ali, Chief Executive of Crystal Enterprises, one of the leading manufacturer, exporter of paraffin wax (Candle’s raw material) and importer of refined, bleached and de-odorized (RBD) Coconut Oil and organic virgin coconut oil invited Indonesian discuss over lunch to discuss about bilateral business & trade opportunities between Crystal Enterprises & Indonesian Companies selling Coconut Oil and organic virgin coconut oil. After formal business discussions, other topics were also discussed to improve trade better between Pakistan and Indonesia.
This meeting held at on Thursday 1st June at Al Bustan Restaurant, Mövenpick Hotel, Karachi was mediated Mr. Rafiq Vayani, Executive Editor, Biz Today International and was attended by Consul General of Republic of Indonesia His Excellency Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat along-with Mr. Dewanto Priyokusumo, Consul for Economic Affairs / Head of Chancery at Indonesian Consulate.
Mr. Muhammad Ali informed that; “we wish to import Refined, Bleached and Deodorized (RBD) Coconut Oil and organic virgin coconut oil from Indonesia. RDB Coconut Oil is consumed by Ice Cream manufacturers in Pakistan”.
Consul General of Republic of Indonesia His Excellency Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat thanked Mr. Muhammad Ali for inviting him and handed over the list of Indonesian Exporters from Indonesian Trade Ministry to Mr. Muhammad Ali. He went on to say that; “coal and edible oil are major exports from Indonesia to Pakistan”. He hoped that Crystal Enterprises find a good business partner from Indonesia.
Indonesian Consul General spoke about this favorite Pakistani meal, which is Mutton Karhai, he said; “in Indonesia, most of the restaurants don’t have mutton on menu, reason being it too expensive, we can also explore the idea of live animal export from Pakistan to Indonesia”.
The Indonesian envoy hoped that; “a big city like Karachi should send at least 20 business people to Indonesia for trade-fairs etc etc. We are also planning to visit Hyderabad & Larkana Chamber during second week of June 2023.”
Mr. Muhammad Ali and his team presented excellent souvenirs depicting Pakistani culture to honorable guest H.E Consul General His Excellency Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat. Leading industrial Mr. Shamoon Zaki was also present during the meeting.
