With most girls playing in two different categories, they showed their level of fitness over the course of the tournament.
Tournament Director, Jacques Harmse, commented that with most players exhibiting great sportsmanship by volunteering to referee matches, it showed that they not only played the game, but were also interested in becoming students of the rules. This is an area that needs future education in order to elevate the level of our game”.
