My name is Chef Maha Waseem, a happily married woman with two energetic and fabulous kids. Recently, I embarked on a fulfilling journey by turning my passion for baking into a profession. This newfound path has brought immense joy to my life.
Before marriage, my culinary skills were limited, and cooking wasn’t a significant part of my life. However, after tying the knot, I discovered a newfound interest in the culinary arts. I began experimenting in the kitchen, and to my delight, my efforts were highly appreciated, particularly by my in-laws and husband. Their encouragement fueled my desire to explore different cuisines and improve my cooking skills.
Among my specialties are Arabic Mandi, Bombay and Khatri Biryani, Chicken Baluchi Tikka, and Chicken 65. These dishes became a hit among my family and friends, motivating me to expand my culinary repertoire. Realizing the need to develop my baking skills, I decided to venture into the world of pizzas and cakes.
However, I faced challenges as I delved into baking. Perfecting pizzas and cakes required a different skill set. Undeterred, I turned to social media platforms and enrolled in a Hospitality Management School to gain expertise in baking.
Social media became my go-to resource. I explored countless baking tutorials, learning techniques and recipes from expert bakers. Immersed in the online baking community, I constantly experimented, refined my skills, and sought inspiration and feedback.
Simultaneously, I pursued formal education by enrolling in a Hospitality Management School. The structured curriculum, experienced instructors, and hands-on training deepened my understanding of the science behind baking. This education enhanced my techniques and bolstered my confidence in the kitchen.
With each passing day, my passion for baking grew stronger, and my skills improved. I embraced the challenge of perfecting pizzas and cakes, experimenting with flavors, textures, and decorations. Seeking feedback from family, friends, and customers, I refined my creations to ensure their satisfaction.
Through dedication, perseverance, and a thirst for knowledge, I transformed from a novice home cook into a skilled baker. Today, I take pride in offering a wide range of delectable pizzas and cakes to customers who appreciate the passion and effort I put into my creations.
My journey as a home baker has been one of self-discovery and growth. It has taught me the importance of pursuing my passions and striving for excellence.
