KARACHI/DUBAI: Under the patronage of Chairperson BINAE Education Foundation and Charter President Rotary Club of Karachi Silver Sands, Sarwat N Shah, students of the Independent Living Course at Binae participated at the prestigious Pakistan Culinary Summit – Star Chef Awards 2023. It was an incredibly proud moment to witness visually impaired students from the cooking class performing in the Live Cooking Competition showcasing their remarkable culinary talents at this esteemed event under the able guidance of their teacher Ms Tahira Suriya. The panel of judges was highly impressed by the performance and couldn’t believe that the Karahi they were tasting was made by Blind and Visually Impaired persons.
Ms Asma Imran of Pro Skills and Mr Zeeshan of Global Events organised this wonderful Summit and made it socially inclusive for persons with disabilities. Chief Guest Mr. Junaid Ali Shah visited the Live Cooking Station and highly appreciated Binae for their efforts in empowering the blind and visually impaired.
This marks a momentous occasion for Binae Foundation, and the management is grateful for the opportunity.
