CIRCLE Women Association Celebrates Enduring Partnerships with an exclusive Networking Event

CIRCLE Women Association, a pioneering non-profit tech startup led by women, hosted a networking event to honor and celebrate the unwavering support of its esteemed partners. The event, held at Marionette, Lahore, served as a catalyst for strengthening collaborative efforts, expanding partner outreach, and exploring new avenues of collaboration, all with the shared goal of empowering women through digital literacy and entrepreneurial skills development.

CIRCLE Women has cultivated strong partnerships with a diverse range of organizations, including PVTC, RCDP, PSDF, NAYMAT, NCHD, Lahore College for Women, Social Welfare, and Women Development Department, among many others. Up-till now CIRCLE Women has conducted 300+ successful training sessions with various outreach partners and the number is ongoing. These partnerships have been instrumental in advancing CIRCLE Women’s mission of equipping women with the digital literacy, skills, and resources they need to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.

In 2022, CIRCLE Women, with the invaluable support of its partners, made significant strides in empowering underserved micro and potential business women.Through 288 training cohorts across 130 districts, CIRCLE Women has equipped 8,194 women with critical skills and knowledge in digital literacy, digital security, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship. The impact seen is remarkable. By far 1,742 graduates have received mentorship and coaching, 2,614 have launched online businesses, and 6,718 have opened mobile wallets.

Gracing the occasion with his presence, DG TEVTA Mr. Amir Aziz remarked, “Women play an integral role in the societal fabric, and their active participation can significantly shape the progress of any nation. We are incredibly grateful to all our existing and potential partners for recognizing the importance of promoting digital literacy, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship among these women, and for aligning their efforts with CIRCLE’s mission to bridge the existing gender divide.”

The event also served as a springboard for exploring new avenues of collaboration and expanding CIRCLE Women’s reach to a wider audience. Key government officials, including Amir Aziz – DG TEVTA, Mudassir Riaz – DG Social Welfare, and Sajjad Ahmed – Director Women Development Department, along with representatives from various organizations and key media personnel, attended the event.

With the unwavering support of its partners, CIRCLE Women continues to break down barriers and create a world where women are equipped to thrive in the digital era.
