The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, will establish a cafeteria to facilitate its students, faculty, and staff members.
Compliance with the center’s rules and regulations should be equally important for students, faculty, and staff. All the faculty members will make joint efforts to save the precious time of their M.Phil. and Ph.D. Students with timely completion of their higher studies.
These important decisions were taken in a special faculty meeting held at the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry on Friday evening. Prof. Dr. Farzana Shaheen, the Director of the ICCBS, University of Karachi, presided over the meeting. All the faculty members of the international center attended the meeting and made important decisions to set strategy, oversee management, and protect the best interests of the research institution.
It was noted in the meeting that the establishment of the cafeteria was a pressing priority as it will provide students, who have a busy schedule, faculty, and staff with a convenient place within the organization to eat their meals without going out anywhere.
It was decided in the meeting that all the efforts would be made to provide quality accommodation in the students’ hostel, set up at the international center. It was also decided that all the students’ problems, whether it is academic, administrative, or financial would soon be resolved.
The faculty members, in the meeting, also discussed various other issues of the academic and administrative levels with the lady director. Prof. Farzana Shaheen said that nothing was more important than our students as they were our future assets.
She said that timely completion of the M.Phil. and Ph.D. studies was our prime goal so that the precious of our scholars could be saved.
