FUJAIRAH: The J60 Fujairah 14th Fujairah ITF Junior 2024 kicked off with exciting matches, highlighting the skills of promising tennis players from various countries. Throughout an intense eight-day tournament, a total of 174 participants battled it out in 142 thrilling matches. The event showcased four exciting categories: Boys Singles, Girls Singles, Boys Doubles, and Girls Doubles.
In a thrilling match, Reyes Tirado from Mexico emerged as the winner in the Boys Singles category, triumphing over the determined Barsukov from Germany in a fiercely contested final. The thrilling showdown between these two talented athletes mesmerised the spectators and made a lasting impact on the competition.
In the Girls Singles final, Xia Jinshu from China and Efremova from Russia competed against each other. Xia Jinshu showcased her exceptional skills, ultimately emerging as the champion. The match showcased the impressive abilities and determination of these young athletes.
In the Boys Doubles division, Bretin Timeo and Livet Novkirichka emerged as a dominant force, securing the title and bringing immense joy to France. The power of collaboration on the tennis court was showcased as their formidable partnership proved unbeatable against the runners-up, Chodura Sebastian and Reyes Tirado.
Girls Doubles: Kaibara Diana and Singireva Arma emerged as the champions in the Girls Doubles, showcasing remarkable teamwork and synchronisation. Their impressive victory over the Chinese duo Chu Liya and Xia Jinshu showcased the wide range of talent and fierce competition present in the tournament.
