FUJAIRAH: Tennis and Country Club in Fujairah excited to share the recent accomplishment of Avantika Joshi, a passionate tennis player and valued member of our community. Avantika, a Grade 6 student at GEMS WSF, has achieved a remarkable feat that we are proud to celebrate. Avantika achieved an impressive feat by securing the Runners-Up position at the highly esteemed National Under-12 Girls Tennis Tournament, which was organised by the Zayed Sports Academy and the UAE Tennis Federation in Abu Dhabi. This achievement is a clear demonstration of her unwavering commitment and tireless efforts.
Avantika dedicates herself to honing her tennis skills, putting in hours of rigorous training under the guidance of Coach July at the prestigious Tennis and Country Club in Fujairah. In addition to her regular training, she also travels to Dubai for extra sessions. In the past year, she showcased her exceptional talent by dominating the girls’ titles in both singles and doubles matches at the Tennis and Country Club in Fujairah. Her unwavering commitment to the sport was evident as she emerged victorious in every single competition.
After experiencing early success, she was motivated to take her game to the next level. In January 2024, she decided to join the UAE Tennis Federation’s pro circuit, eager to challenge herself further. Winning the Runners-Up trophy in such a short period is an impressive achievement and a testament to her determination. We are extremely pleased with Avantika’s accomplishment. This victory has only intensified her drive to succeed in the world of tennis.
She is committed to putting in even more effort and achieving greater success for herself, the Club, and the Fujairah Emirate.
