YouGov FMCG Rankings 2024 reveal Almarai and Dettol are the most considered FMCG brands among KSA residents across Food, Beverages, and Personal Care categories.
The brands in YouGov’s FMCG rankings 2024 were ranked based on Consideration score, which is a measure of likelihood of purchase from the category. The top ten rankings show the brands with the highest Consideration score between April 1st, 2023, and March 31st, 2024.
Food
Within the ‘Food’ category, Almarai emerged as a clear winner, with a Consideration score of 59.9. The top five list is dominated by domestic brands such as Saudia in second (with a score of 42.7) and Nadec in fourth (37.6). The only exceptions are Galaxy in third (42.0) and Kit Kat in fifth (34.8).
Next up on the food rankings is Turkish brand Ulker (34.5).
Snickers takes the seventh place (with a score of 33.6), followed by Afia (32.5), Oreo (30.9) and 7 days (30.8).
Beverage
Almarai topped the rankings yet again within the category of ‘Beverages’, registering a Consideration score of 56.7. Pepsi and 7Up follow in second (36.9) and third (36.4).
Apart from Almarai, other domestic brands to feature in the list are Nadec (32.3), Al Rabie (26.2), and Rabea Tea (22.3).
Coca- Cola (29.2), Mirinda (25.0), Moussy (24.7) and Vimto (22.7) also feature in KSA’s list of top ten beverage brands.
Personal Care
Within the Personal Care category, Dettol leads the rankings in KSA with a Consideration score of 38.4. Dove took the second place (with a score of 33.2), followed by Nivea (28.8), Sensodyne (26.4) and Lux (23.1).
Signal (21.0), Johnson & Johnson (21.0), Head & Shoulders (20.8), Lifebuoy (18.2) and Garnier (18.1) are other brands to feature in the top ten list this year.

YouGov publishes brand rankings yearly based on the data from always-on brand tracker, YouGov BrandIndex. FMCG brands are tracked daily around the world, enabling us to consistently and accurately measure consumer attitudes towards those brands.
The brands in YouGov’s FMCG rankings 2024 were ranked based on Consideration score, which is a measure of likelihood of purchase from the category. The top ranked rankings show the brands with the highest Consideration score between April 1st 2023 and March 31st 2024.
The scores are representative of the general population of adults 18+ (some are online representative) except for India which is national urban representation. For all markets, a minimum base size of 100 is mandatory for conclusive results.
All scores listed have been rounded to a single decimal place; however, we have used additional precision to assign ranks. All brands included in YouGov’s FMCG top ranked rankings have been tracked for a minimum of 6 months.
