DUBAI/KARACHI: International Memon Organization (IMO) is the largest memon organization with strength of 1.3 million members across the globe. It was initially established in 1938. One of the executives IMO was well known dignitary Sir, Haji Abdullah Haroon who migrated to Pakistan in 1947 and played a vital role in memon community as well as in the government of Pakisan. However, IMO was revived in 2017 with new concept of “services based organization”. IMO neither collects nor distributes charity. Our main objective is to connect memon with memon through out globe and reduce poverty by teaching how to catch fish. We have 14 Chapters and 60 Board Members including patrons, Board Members and VPs of respective Chapters.
We organize social & welfare events out of personal pocket funds or through sponsors. We have been holding our AGM and other annual events such as IM2M Business Conference and Int’l Expo etc in various countries since last 7 years.
According to Mr. Asif Majid, President, IMO, Tayyab Moosani, Secretary General, Jawed Kareem, DGS and Ahmed Munaf, Head of Pakistan Chapter, IMO, this year, looking into upcoming strong era of economics and bright future of Pakistan, we have decided to hold our 7th AGM and IM2M Business Conference and Expo or Bachat Bazar in Pakistan on 27 to 29 September, 2024.
Since several International delegates comprising of Investors and Businessmen, are expected to attend Business Conference, we shall be delighted to avail opportunity to enhance soft image of our country in front of foreign investors and businessmen. Our Patron in Chief Mr. Aqeel Karim Dhedhi has kindly assured us of his utmost cooperation in organizing our Annual Events including Business Conference this year.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan is a land of opportunities and has potential investment avenues in various sectors. We can foresee bright future of Pakistan and undoubtedly some of prominent speakers will indicate and advise our International and local Businessmen to invest in lucrative Business & Investment avenues that could lead Pakistan towards more strength, stability and prosperity.
Our patron in Chief Mr. Aqeel Kareem Dhedi will be the guest of honour in our IM2M Business Conference who is always optimistic about economics of Pakistan and may urge our foreign delegates to avail excellent investment opportunities in certain fields in Pakistan.
