The BINAE Academy Hosts Annual Ceremony and Result Day for Students with Visually Impairment

KARACHI: The BINAE Academy announced the successful completion of the academic year through the Annual Ceremony and Result Day, held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, that took place at the Zaamin Group Head Office Main Khayaban-e-Ittehad, Phase 7 DHA, Karachi. The event marked a celebration of academic excellence, dedication, and community spirit.

The ceremony commenced with a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran by Umamah Tahir, followed by a heartfelt Naat by Qurratulain, setting a serene and spiritual tone. Attendees united in singing the Inclusive National Anthem, showcasing unity and inclusion. Coordinator of The BINAE Academy, delivered an inspiring welcome speech followed by a poem by Sarish Naz and a special speech highlighting BINAE’s achievements by Alishba Samad.

Mrs. Sarwat N Shah, Chairperson of the BINAE Education Foundation, shared her insights on the vision, progress, and future goals of BINAE Academy. She also highlighted the role of mental health and its inclusion in the academic year and an important announcement on behalf of her venture Khudi, that the Khudi Parenting Upgrade Program will be accessible free of charge for the parents of students at The BINAE Academy.

A landmark moment was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between BINAE Education Foundation and Connect Hear, aimed at enhancing the lives of persons with disabilities through education, skills development, rehabilitation, grooming, and job placement. The MOU was signed by Ms. Azima Dhanjee, CEO/Co-Founder of Connect Hear, and Mrs Sarwat N Shah, Chairperson of BINAE Education Foundation.

The highlight of the evening was the announcement of results and the distribution of certificates to outstanding students, teachers, and staff members. Distinguished guests shared their insights and thoughts on the noble cause of the BINAE Academy.

FM 88.6 Traffic Police Sindh FM Radio Station and Biztoday joined the event as media partners. Honorable guests received tokens of appreciation, and their presence was greatly appreciated by the entire BINAE Academy team, students, and parents. The event concluded on a positive note with Hi-Tea, providing an opportunity for attendees to socialize and celebrate the achievements.

The top student, Sherish Naz, was awarded a certificate. The best students, Areesha Imran and student of the year, Muhammad Hassan Arif were awarded a certificate. The best Teachers, Ms.Komal Iqbal was awarded a certificate. Ms. Abida Ali Wahidi and Ms. Namira Naeem was acknowledged and awarded a certificate of excellence in service. The host of the evening, Javeriya Khan was acknowledged and awarded a certificate.
