KARACHI: The Indonesian Consulate General in Karachi, along with the Indonesian Women’s Association (DWP), played a key role in the “Independence Day Family Gala” at Mohatta Palace Museum, celebrating Pakistan’s 77th Anniversary. The event provided an opportunity to introduce Indonesian cuisine and culture to a wide audience.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of traditional Indonesian dishes, such as Bakso, Mie Goreng, Sate Ayam, and the popular Es Melon, which was a crowd favorite. The stall was a big success, with all the food selling out, showing the growing interest in Indonesian cuisine in Karachi.

An Instagram photo booth with Indonesian-themed decorations was a hit among attendees, who took pictures to capture the event’s spirit. In addition to food, there were also Indonesian products on sale, surprising many guests and adding to the cultural experience.
