KARACHI: The opening of “All That Glitters Is Not Home” a solo show of Masuma Halai Khwaja at Canvas Gallery, Clifton, Karachi.
An artist and curator of international repute, Masuma has multiple shows to her credit.
Emblematic of world powers and symbolizing romance , the rose and the rose petals take on dual, polar connotations in South Asia . Rose petals are showered on guests to signify a warm welcome and spread on graves to signify commiseration.
The show remains open daily until Thursday August 29th 2024 , from 11 am – 7 pm (excluding Sunday).
