KARACHI: A herd of female African elephants arrived in Karachi’s Safari Park from Tanzania in June 2009. Madhubala, the sole survivor after her sister Noorjehan’s passing in April 2023, will be relocated to join Malika and Sonia at Safari Park by November 2024.

The UAE Consul General, H.E. Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi, arranged essential medications for Madhubala, provided on an urgent basis twice.

H.E. Dr. Alremeithi personally visited the elephants to assess their well-being and planted a tree during his visit, demonstrating the UAE’s commitment to animal welfare in Pakistan.
