DUBAI: As part of this year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30, Majid Al Futtaim is excited to announce the launch of its Fitness Hub at Tilal Al Ghaf, its flagship community in Dubai.
The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) is a month-long celebration of fitness and wellness, challenging people to complete 30 minutes of exercise daily for 30 days (30X30). Tilal Al Ghaf’s Fitness Hub embraces this challenge with a month-long calendar of free daily activities, bringing the community together to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
Open from 26 October 2024 until 24 November 2024, the Lagoon Park at the Tilal Al Ghaf Sales and Experience Centre will transform into four dedicated fitness zones – high intensity, high energy, bike station, and wellness—along with a dedicated Kids Zone, ensuring fun for the entire family.
The Movement Hub at Tilal Al Ghaf will be run by FITCODE, a premium health club designed for those looking to push their limits and achieve peak performance, welcoming not only residents of Tilal Al Ghaf, but also visitors from neighboring communities – such as Motor City, Arabian Ranches, Mira, and beyond.
Throughout the week, from Monday to Friday, visitors can participate in activities like spin classes, Pilates, CrossFit, yoga, breathwork, and ice bath plunges. On weekends, a vibrant festival atmosphere will unfold, featuring fitness classes, kids’ activities, bouncy castles, arts and crafts, and other large-scale activations, with key highlights including the Glow Dance set to take place during the opening weekend.
With Tilal Al Ghaf’s placemaking approach, which integrates health and fitness into the community’s design, Majid Al Futtaim aims to inspire a fitness-focused mindset and promote healthy, active lifestyles for all.
All activities at the Fitness Hub are free and can be booked through the FITCODE app, and the weekly schedule will also be available on the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30 website, making it easy for participants to plan their visit.
The Fitness Hub is supported by a wide range of partners who will be offering special deals or activations around the month-long initiative.
Through its ‘Choose Better’ programme, Carrefour will offer a variety of healthier food and beverage options to help participants refresh, refuel, and recharge during the Dubai Fitness Challenge. In addition, community-driven activities like kids’ sensory stations and family-friendly events, including an on-site nutritionist, will help make healthy choices easier and more enjoyable for everyone taking part.
Top exercise apparel company, lululemon, will be leading an outdoor yoga activation at Tilal Al Ghaf to help spread mindfulness and foster a sense of community and togetherness, while VOX Cinemas will be hosting outdoor screenings so visitors can experience the magic of movies under the stars with friends and family.
A series of mindfulness and wellness session will be provided by Longevity Wellness Hub, along with ice bath plunges to help participants soothe their tired muscles.
