KARACHI: On December 19th, 2024, a Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) session was successfully conducted at SGS in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Karachi (RCK) and Memon Medical Institute Hospital (MMIH). While 57 women attended the session, 27 underwent screening, and 4 were advised for ultrasound.
The session emphasized the critical importance of early detection and proactive health measures for women. Rotarian and Managing Director of SGS, Razzak Lakhani, highlighted the significance of prioritizing women’s health, while RCK President Shoaib Ismail and Immediate Past President Ajaz Saya commended the relentless efforts of the MMIH team and key contributors.
Special recognition was given to Rotarian Shabnam Minhas, BCA Chair; Hon. Secretary Shumaila Omar; Joint Secretary Aamir Butt; and Rotarian Mansoor Younus for their steadfast dedication to creating impactful change in women’s lives.
