KARACHI: The Karachi Marriott Hotel was lighted by the esteemed Biz Today International Business Awards 2024 on Thursday, 26th December, which honored companies and leaders who have achieved success in a variety of fields. A respected group of corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and dignitaries came together for this magnificent event, which honored creativity, achievement, and commitment to community service.
At 3:30 PM, a friendly networking session over tea and coffee kicked off the event. Mr. Asif Shaikh Javed, the former Vice President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave the welcome speech and set a positive and motivating tone for the attendees.
The keynote address was given by Mr. Junaid Naqi, President of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, who emphasised the need of creativity and tenacity in promoting economic expansion.
His Excellency Mr. Teguh Wiweko, the Republic of Indonesia’s Acting Consul General in Karachi and the Chief Guest, spoke passionately on promoting global cooperation and the common path to prosperity.
Mr. Raza Abbas, General Manager of Marriott Hotel Karachi, also welcomed the guests during his speech at the event. He highlighted that Karachi Marriott Hotel plays a significant role in entertaining tourists from around the globe, providing exceptional hospitality experiences, and contributing to the travel and tourism industry in Pakistan.

Mr. Afzal Adhia received the most inventive lighting company is Bombay Light House.
Mr. Sajjad Baig received on behalf of Kurta Mahal, a pioneer in traditional attire.
Mr. Ali Arsh Khan accepted the best business organization award for ‘The International Business Forum’,

Universal Brother/Maxims Group of Companies, a Pioneer in Hajj and Umrah Services.
The Ocean Pearl Hotel, which Mr. Shahid Awan, CEO, Mr. Haris Kafeel, General Manager and Mr. Muhammad Owais Kath, Front Office received, is the Most Comfortable Hotel.
Ms. Maryam Hina received the award for Best Graphics Design & Business Development Agency on behalf of Biz Grip Solutions.
Orient Plastcare Pakistan is the Most Innovative Manufacturer of Plastic Bottles received by
Mr. Faheem Khan.
Ms. Naureen Abbas received the Best Fashion Designer for Fabricology by Naureen Abbas.
Nitrogen Fitness & Wellness Gym is the best fitness and wellness centre. The award was given to Mr. Nasir Khan.
Ziqi Enterprise is Pakistan’s top producer and exporter of stuffed toys (received by Sardar Ali Muhd Baloch).
