FUJAIRAH: The Tennis and Country Club Fujairah proudly hosted the J100 International Tennis Tournament, which began on January 4, 2025. This prestigious ITF event brought together talented players from around the world, creating a platform for fierce competition and showcasing the future stars of tennis.
The event showcased exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the court. The Champions for the girls’ doubles are UI Sujeong from Korea and Tennielle Madis from the Philippines. As the top-seeded pair, Sujeong and Madis demonstrated extraordinary skill and composure, making a remarkable comeback to win with a scoreline of 3-6, 6-1, [10-4], showcasing their resilience under pressure.
In the Boys’ Doubles, Barreira Bonzom and Couturier emerged victorious in the highly anticipated final, delivering a commanding performance with a 6-2, 6-2 scoreline.
The other pair, Alisa Terentyeva and Alina Yuneva, displayed exceptional resilience and effort, contributing to a competitive and entertaining match. Despite their defeat, their performance throughout the tournament was commendable and earned them the runner-up position in the Girls’ Doubles.
For the Boys’ Doubles, Bielen and Huss struggled to counter the relentless pressure but put up a spirited fight, displaying remarkable grit and determination.
