FUJAIRAH: The International Tennis Tournament concluded with an exciting display of talent and determination in both the boys’ and girls’ singles finals, underscoring the competitive spirit and sportsmanship at the heart of the event.
Boys’ Singles Final
USA’s Vihaan Reddy claimed victory over Turkey’s Mustafa Ege Sik in a gripping contest, with a final score of 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. Both players exhibited exceptional skill, but Reddy’s resilience in the third set ultimately secured him the championship title.
Girls’ Singles Final
Russia’s Alisa Terentyeva delivered a dominant performance, triumphing over Vlada Guryleva with a commanding 6-3, 6-1 scoreline. Terentyeva’s aggressive play and consistency earned her the title, garnering applause from the crowd for her exceptional display of skill.
Award Ceremony and Honourees
The tournament’s prestigious awarding ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad bin Mohamed Al Sharqi, who presented the trophies to the victorious players. He was accompanied by Mr. Ghafour Beherozian, Chairman of Tennis and Country Club, whose leadership played a pivotal role in the event’s success.
