KARACHI: TDF Ghar is proud to announce the launch of its latest exhibition, “From Borders to Belongings: Karachi’s Journey Through Migration.” This exhibition celebrates how the Partition of 1947 reshaped Karachi’s dynamic spirit and enriched its vibrant diversity.

The exhibition brings to life the journeys of communities that made Karachi their home after 1947, exploring the city’s transformation through migration. Visitors will discover stories of resilience and adaptation, learn about the growth of Karachi’s infrastructure, and witness the unique cultural fusion that continues to shape the metropolis’ cultural fabric and identity today.

Through a blend of captivating personal narratives and historical perspectives, the exhibition highlights migration as a driving force behind Karachi’s inspiring journey of transformation and resilience.

Sabrina Dawood, Vice Chair of The Dawood Foundation, remarked, “Karachi’s history is woven with stories of resilience, diversity, and transformation. Through this exhibition, we honour the journeys of those who shaped this city, and inspire visitors to connect with its rich heritage. I encourage everyone to visit and rediscover Karachi’s remarkable past.”

The entry fee for the exhibition is Rs. 100, and it is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10 am to 10 pm for the public. TDF Ghar is dedicated to fostering cultural, educational.
