KARACHI: The 8th Board Meeting of the Rotary Club Karachi was successfully held under the Chairmanship of President Shoaib Ismail on February 11, 2025, at 11:45 am at the Pearl Continental Hotel. During the meeting, the minutes from the previous session were reviewed and confirmed. The board assessed five new membership applications and discussed the club’s financial status, including the progress of membership subscriptions for the year 2024-25.
Suggestions for guest speakers for the upcoming meetings in April and May were also deliberated. Additionally, the proposal from the Behbud Foundation was carefully reviewed. A significant portion of the discussion focused on arrangements and sponsorships for the much-anticipated Chartered Night and Governor’s Official Visit, scheduled for April 26, 2025.
The session concluded with further discussions on various matters raised with the Chair’s permission. This meeting played a vital role in strengthening the club’s mission of service, leadership, and community development.
