KARACHI: A Trade WEBINAR was organized to highlight the export opportunities for Pakistani goods in the US market with the cooperation of Pakistan USA Business Council FPCCI. Mr. Hanif Channa Trade & Investment Minister at Pakistani Embassy in the United States briefed the Business Community of Pakistan as Key Note Speaker, where a large number of participation witnessed including Shaikh Imtiaz Hussain Chairman, Syed Nasir Wajahat Senior Vice Chairman, Jahanzeb Khan Vice Chairman, Director Danish Ayub, Dr. Zahid Ansari, Dr. Zaigham, Adnan Bashir, Hussain Moosani, Ali Vazir, Atif Khan, Mansoor Ahmed, Riaz Makhdoom, Aslam Khaliq, Farooq Kapadia, Bilal Farooq , Umar Patel, Haseeb Aslam, Javed Jagda and others were also present.

Muhammad Hanif Chana highlighted several important points during his presentation to the Pakistan USA Business Council of FPCCI that in addition to textiles and IT, there are numerous other sectors where Pakistani exports have significant potential in the US market, particularly furniture, mattresses, carpets, plastic toys, Sea food, shoes, halal food, footwear, Handicrafts, Leather Products, Sports Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Herbal Products, gems and jewellery Cement, Construction Materials and Cosmetics which have a promising future. Muhammad Hanif Chana said that all these Pakistani products are currently in high demand in the US market as the new tariff policies of the American administration have created new opportunities for businessmen, while the 25% tariff on neighboring countries and 10% tariff on China can provide Pakistan with a competitive advantage in these sectors. This situation opens the door for Pakistani businesses to capture a larger share of the US market in these product categories while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

On this occasion, Shaikh Imtiaz Hussain, Chairman of Pakistan USA Business Council FPCCI, while briefing the participants, said that America is the largest export market of Pakistan. Shaikh Imtiaz Hussain further said that Pakistani Diaspora in USA can play a vital role in bridging the gap between the two countries. Their influence can drive demand for Pakistani products in the U.S., as well as encourage investment flows and collaborations.
All these efforts of Pakistan USA Business Council FPCCI will not only start a new era of foreign investment in the country, but the economy will also grow and Pakistan will emerge on the world map by joining the list of developed countries in the world, he said. In order to achieve these opportunities, the Pakistan USA Business Council of FPCCI will prepare a strategy to increase exports by forming a high-level trade delegation in the coming month with the cooperation of the Pakistani Embassy in Washington USA.
