Pak-Africa Economic Council organises Iftar Dinner in Karachi

KARACHI: The Pak-Africa Economic Council organized an Iftar cum dinner on Friday, 14 March, 2025 at the Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi, which was attended by leading business figures of the country. DG Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Chief guest Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohi, while addressing the event, invited Pakistani industrialists and business figures to invest and do business in Africa.

The guests were also given a gift of Ajrak by the Chairman of the Pak-Africa Economic Council, Shahbaz Malik. After that, Chairman Shahbaz Malik addressed the ceremony and discussed Pak-Africa economic relations and opportunities for improvement. At the ceremony, the chief guest, Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohi, announced the establishment of the Pak-Africa Economic Council and nominated Shahbaz Malik as the chairman of the council.

Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohi administered the oath to the council members. Dr. Rehan Mehtab Chawla, Senior Vice Chairman. Fawad Sheikh. Nasir Sheikh. Abdul Wahab Edhi took the oath of office. In which they also pledged to improve relations and economic activities between Pakistan and Africa.

Chairman Shahbaz Malik presented the shield to the chief guest and other guests.
