KARACHI: His Excellency, Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, hosted Iftar dinner on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the beautiful garden of the Malaysian Consulate in DHA, Karachi. The event was held in honor of the Malaysian community residing in Karachi and friends of Malaysia, celebrating the spirit of unity, friendship, and cultural heritage.
The gathering featured the breaking of the fast with the traditional Malaysian dish, Bubur Lambuk, a flavorful rice porridge prepared specially for Ramadan. Guests enjoyed a variety of authentic Malaysian cuisine, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary traditions of Malaysia.
His Excellency, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to the attendees for joining the Iftar and highlighted the importance of such gatherings in fostering goodwill and strengthening ties between Malaysia and Pakistan.
The event provided an opportunity for the Malaysian community in Karachi to come together, share their cultural heritage, and build lasting friendships with the local community.
