KARACHI: Volunteers are the backbone for Okhai Memon Youth Services because the work that volunteers do for our organization is very cumbersome, labor intensive and mentally draining. This is a great reason to set aside some fun time every year to show appreciation.
The point is that when you take the time to publicly recognize the efforts of those volunteers who go above and beyond, they will feel proud of their own accomplishments and thus work harder for our organization. In this connection, Members Coordination Committee is organizing Youth Volunteers Award Ceremony 2019 on 10th March-2019 at Orchid Banquet, Karachi where awards will be distributed to volunteers.
Okhai Memon Jamat was formed in 1880 when a number of families came here and resided in Kharadar area of Karachi near the port. This organization was registered under the societies Act XXI of 1860.
The `Youth Services` was born out of the desire to locate, unite and explore the potentialities of the young educated people of the community, to their more, mental and cultural developments and putting these organized talents to constructiveness so that, through educational and other social welfare activities, the reforms could be brought about.
