ABU DHABI: Adamas Motors LLC shows its commitment to the UAE with the opening of their brand-new Lotus Cars showroom in Abu Dhabi. Located in Sheikha Salama Building, Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi, the showroom offers new and existing customers the opportunity to experience the famous brand first-hand, in the heart of the capital.

The new Lotus Abu Dhabi showroom can showcase up to 8 cars and will present the range of Lotus vehicles carefully selected and optioned to suit the aspirations of customers in the UAE. As a special display at the inaugural event was the limited-edition Lotus 3-Eleven 430 in the famous Lotus black and gold livery, and one of only twenty cars produced world-wide.
David Aldcroft, Head of Network Development at Lotus Cars Ltd commented, “We are delighted to launch this new showroom in the capital of the UAE with Adamas Motors, representing another milestone in the growth of the Lotus operation in the region. We appreciate the ongoing commitment to the Lotus brand in the Middle East and are confident that our success will continue, supported by the Lotus dealer network.”
Karl Hamer, Chief Executive Officer of Adamas Motors said, “We are extremely proud to open the doors to Lotus Abu Dhabi. We are committed to the UAE and to extend our business to the capital shows just that. The Lotus DNA fits perfectly to Adamas Motors’ business platform, specializing in prestige and performance vehicles, and being committed to providing UAE customers with an unrivalled motoring and ownership experience. These showrooms and service facilities have been built for the needs of our discerning customers.”
“I’m so pleased to be working with this wonderful brand in the UAE. What attracted me is the tremendous history and goodwill for the brand today and the plans for the development of the brand in the future. This started just over a week ago at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show with the announcement of the new Lotus Type 130, the first all-electric hypercar from a British manufacturer which is to be revealed later this year. Relationship is everything and we will ensure that our customers, manufacturers and our employees experience a business that they are proud to be associated with,” added Karl Hamer.
The new Lotus Abu Dhabi showroom includes a configuration area that allows customers to plan their Lotus vehicle colour and trim selections in a comfortable and private space, alongside a customer lounge where guests can relax and enjoy a coffee.
For the showroom opening event, a special exhibit was showcased on the mezzanine level featuring the history of Lotus in Formula 1. Moving forward, the exhibit area will be used by Adamas Motors to embrace local artists and allow them to showcase their work.
Jonathan Stretton, Regional Director of Lotus Cars Middle East commented, “Lotus Abu Dhabi is another step forward in our plans to strengthen the Lotus brand’s presence and sales network in the Middle East. We thank Adamas Motors for their investment in the Lotus business, another expression of the confidence in the future of the Lotus marque in the region.”
Lotus customers in Abu Dhabi will be able to service their cars at the new, state-of-the-art Lotus workshop facility. Adamas Motors has set up facilities for Abu Dhabi customers to have their Lotus vehicles collected from their home or office in a performance vehicle transporter specifically designed to safely carry the range of Lotus vehicles, ensuring Lotus owners have a first-class ownership experience.
