Thai Airways and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau signs agreement to Promote MICE Travel

BANGKOK: Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thailand Convention and Exibition Bureau (TCEB) to support Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) travel.  Mr. Wiwat Piyawiroj, THAI Executive Vice President, Commercial, and Mr. Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, , TCEB President, signed the MoU, which was witnessed by Ms. Nooch Homrossukhon,  TCEB Director of Meetings and Incentives, and Mr. Tawatchai Gittisriboongul, THAI Director of Global Accounts Management, at THAI’s Head Office.

This collaboration was initiated to promote Thailand’s MICE industry that has accepted standards, in order to that it may become the MICE industry center for the ASEAN region.  THAI provides convenient services for MICE travelers and business entrepreneurs, in order that Thailand may become the international MICE center for meetings, exhibitions, and incentives, whereby the objective is to increase MICE revenue for THAI in the Thailand market and beyond, on routes operated by THAI.
