DUBAI: Dubai-based e-commerce site, Fashsouq.com set to officially launch this coming October 2017. Fashsouq.com boasts a portfolio of luxury brands including Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Valentino as well as popular high street brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti and H&M with its home base in the UAE. Fashsouq.com also represents a range of beauty brands such as Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, YSL Cosmetics, Benefit Cosmetics, Kylie Cosmetics and Beauty blender.
While using Dubai’s central location as its base, the retail site focuses on delivering its wide range of clothing, accessories and beauty products to the surrounding Middle East region as well as Pakistan. Founder and CEO of fashsouq.com, UAE-based Pakistani Ali Ahmed launched the site as a solution to the retail limitations of the region. “Practically hordes of shoppers travel from other countries in the middle east and from India and Pakistan to Dubai just with the sole purpose to shop. With this site, I’m hoping to take Dubai to them.”
Earlier this year, Fashsouq.com sponsored celebrated boxing legend Mike Tyson’s Academy Launch Gala at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel. Britain’s boxing star Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom were also present amongst the guests. The retail site invited Pakistani celebrities including Ayesha Omar and Momina Mustehsan to represent the region.
The company is now gearing towards its hard launch in October in Pakistan where the site will also be introducing an iOS and android app. News Desk
