Abu Haashir Perfumes launches “Siachen” with Independence Day theme

KARACHI: A Soft launch event of newly designed perfume “Siachen” by Abu Haashir perfumes took place on Friday 02nd August 2019 at lawns of Karachi Club, Annexe which has an excellent sea-facing view. This soft launch of “Siachen” was formally inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Khair-ul-Nazran Abdul Rahman, Consul-General of Malaysia in Karachi and Mr. Fareed Iqbal Machiyara with near and dear one also present to make this occasion more memorable for all those who were present. After soft launch by His Excellency Mr. Khair-ul-Nazran Abdul Rahman, Consul-General of Malaysia in Karachi, a cake cutting ceremony was held which was followed by a scrumptious dinner.

His Excellency Mr. Khair-ul-Nazran Abdul Rahman, Consul-General of Malaysia in Karachi praised the quality products by Abu Haashir Perfumes, he said; “I have checked most of the products on display here at the launch event, all products have beautiful fragrance and are available at good price. This will be the selling for Abu Haashir Perfumes, as anyone who would be looking for best product at good price will definitely opt for Abu Haashir Perfumes”.

His Excellency also wished best of luck to Mr. Mr. Fareed Iqbal Machiyara CEO and hoped that many Malaysian would also try this brand Abu Haashir Perfumes. “they definitely have a wow factor to them”, added the Consul-General of Malaysia.

Due to immense popularity of Abu Haashir Perfumes, creative minds at helm of affairs decide to launch something new for their niche and sophisticated clientele. This creative work resulted in launch of their latest produce by the name of ‘Siachen’, which is named after famous glacier in North of Pakistan. ‘Siachen‘ is mixed locally by Abu Haashir Perfumes with a base mixture of Ethanol and Oil. It’s fragrance has a strong elements with light soothing tone to it.  CEO of Abu Haashir Perfumes was very excited on the launch of ‘Siachen’ and hoped that it will come out as a best seller too.

  

In business for last two years, CEO of Abu Haashir Perfumes spoke briefly with BizToday correspondent he said; “we have been in business for last two years via our online portal, social media and some online shopping portals. Initially we started off with designing clones of top brands and then ventured into designing our own perfumes”.

He further said; “initially most of our products were oil-based, which isn’t a popular choice among regular consumers of perfumes. After a detailed survey we decided to design our own perfumes with a base which is a mixture of enthanol + oil. Some of our fast moving items are ‘Cambodi Oud’ which is our best seller made out of oud imported from Cambodia, another one is ‘khaas’ with sweet tone to it has become an instant favorite among the young generation of today. ‘Black’ initially gives you chocolaty aroma but after a while gives you a feel of pomegranate. ‘Amber Oud’ and ‘Bakhoor’ are also a popular choice among regular customers. All of these fragrances last for more than 12 to 14 hours”.

This immense public response prompted Abu Haashir Perfumes to explore more and more and thus resulting in launch of their latest produce by the name of ‘Siachen’, which is named after famous glacier in North of Pakistan. Promotional campaign for ‘Siachen’ will carry on for whole month of August with special focus on 14th August 2019.

Opening of an outlet is also in the pipeline. All perfumes oil based and ethanol based are suitable for namaz and other prayers.

Fareed Iqbal Machiyara CEO of Abu Haashir Perfumes is relatively new in the field of perfumes, his venture Abu Haashir Perfumes is hardly two years old, but even in these two years has Abu Haashir Perfumes has progressing strongly and its presence is felt strongly in local perfume sector which is evolving very fast as we get to see more and more local players venturing into this vast untapped sector.

Fareed Iqbal Machiyara who belongs to well known business family started off his professional career by joining family business of paper and printing.  Since early childhood he a a knack for perfumes since and was fortunate enough to blessed with a very supportive family, who fully supported him when he decided to venture into this entirely new business avenue. For him this journey from printer to perfumer has been no ordinary one. He started his perfume business with an investment of only $ 250 against which he purchased one tola of pur oud (Arabic fragrance). Abu Haashir Perfumes started off by launching cloned perfumes of top brands. His cloned products have up-to 90% authentic fragrance.

On concluding note from Mr. Fareed Iqbal Machiya is “be Pakistani and buy Pakistani”, which is aimed at supporting Pakistani products and Pakistani entrepreneurs.
