KARACHI: A high profile delegation of Digital Content Producers International called upon the deputy speaker Sind assembly at her office led by Kashif Moten Founder of Digital Content Producers International which was warmly welcomed by the deputy speaker. The delegates appreciated the efforts of the deputy speaker in establishing an independent Human Rights Department Sind. Now headed by Veerji Kohli special assistant to CM Sind, the much ignored awareness campaigns also came under discussion.
The delegation briefed the deputy speaker on efforts by DCPIfor the betterment of Pakistan and particularly Sind in addition to the forthcoming event that entails a unique perspective as the last conference on Fake News, with a panel discussion and several other salient features which will bring huge benefit for the people of Sind. The deputy speaker assured of Sind Government’s complete and unconditional support for the upcoming event & future campaigns of social awareness and human rights as the latter falls directly under the Chief Minister Sind. The deputy speaker was then requested to become the Guest of Honor at event.
Speaking to the media Kashif Moten expressed his gratitude on the immense support and encouragement by the deputy speaker. He expressed his hope that the deputy speaker shall prove to be a great support and will play an instrumental role in assisting DCPI social awareness campaigns. He further added that his organization had approached several celebrities to become Brand Ambassadors on different social issues and create awareness campaigns on their social media channels. “It’s a sheer shame that most of the celebrities we approached demanded too much money despite the fact that it is their civic duty to raise awareness & pay back to the community which has given them stardom.”
On behalf of the head office of DCPI in the UK, the Deputy speaker Sind assembly was presented with the Shield of honor& a traditional Ajrak. Later the custodian of the house invited the delegation to witness the proceedings of the assembly as special guests of the house. Present in the delegation were Feroz Akhtar, NabeelNajmi, Sheikh Shoaib, Yousuf Badshah & others.
