DUBAI: The International Federation of Health Information Management Associations will organizing 19th IFHIMA International Congress at Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City from 17th till 21st November 2019.
His Excellency Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qatami, Director General of Dubai Health Authority will address the Opening ceremony at 9:00 AM on Monday, 18th November, 2019..
The Congress theme “Empowering HIM Professionals through a Global Voice” supports the work and importance of the profession and practitioners, and highlights the ever evolving technological changes and challenges faced throughout the healthcare industry. IFHIMA 2019 will have international and regional leaders and key decision-makers sharing their insights and vision in the future of health information management during the different congress sessions. IFHIMA 2019 offers an exclusive ability to network with leaders from in health information management, health informatics, patient quality & safety, revenue cycle, coding and clinical documentation professionals and much more within the world’s foremost gathering of the healthcare industry. Leaders from government regulators, United Nations, Hospitals and Healthcare providers will be joining the congress.
The IFHIMA Congress is held every three years in one of the 23 federation member countries spanning five continents, the last being held in Tokyo, Japan in 2016. This upcoming Congress will be the first time to hold this event in the Middle East, and will also serve as a celebration of the 50 year anniversary of IFHIMA.
