KARACHI: International Memon Organization (IMO)’s Pakistan chapter has announced commencement of second edition of “IMO Winter Family Festival & Grand Bachat Bazaar” starting Saturday 11th January 2020 and going will go on till Sunday 12th January 2020 at Al-Jadeed Residency, near KN Academy, Malir Cantonment, Karachi.
Speaking to BizToday correspondent at the announcement event for this Grand Bachat Bazaar, Mr. Asif Majid Panawala, Vice President, International Memon Organization (IMO) Pakistan chapter said; “we would like to thank the 30 Jamats of Memon Community from all over Pakistan for their confirmation of participation as associate partners in “IMO Winter Family Festival & Grand Bachat Bazaar – Season 2”.
Mr. Asif Majid further said; “IMO is very much grateful for their participation & we have placed logos of all the Jamats in our promotional material/leaflet. We will also recognize their support by presenting the Guest of Honour shields to the honorable Presidents & General Secretaries of all the participating Jamats”.
Mr. Asif Majid Panawala said; “during last year one of our big achievement was a Bachat Bazaar where around 8000 member of Memon community purchased high quality products at a flat discount of 30%. Last year was a four day affair. First day of this Bachat Bazaar was celebrated as ‘Memon Day’ and for remaining three days this Bachat Bazaar turned out to be a big success”.
Briefing details of this “IMO Winter Family Festival & Grand Bachat Bazaar – Season 2”, Mr. Asif Majid said; “this second edition of ‘IMO Winter Family Festival & Grand Bachat Bazaar’ will be a family event and promises to have something for everyone. Many multi-national companies along-with tier 1 and tier 2 local companies have confirmed their participation, where you can enjoy shopping upto 30% discount. Educational institutes have also confirm and representatives of schools, colleges, universities and other various institutes will also be coming to this Bachat Bazaar and will be offering upto 50% discounts. Lucky-Draws after every one hour, where winners will get away with motor-cycles, cell-phones and other valuable items.”
He further said; “we have set-up a dedicated area for kids known ‘kids area’, where kids will enjoys free rides for trains and other available swings and jumping castles. We also have some new innovative stuff for kids. Food court will also there where leading restaurants will be serving their top quality food. We also made sure not to missout females visitors, as there will be dedicated stalls for women and also face-painting, bangles and mehendi stalls. For other entertainments there will be cultural shows and musical shows at the main stage, where you will also see grand fire-works during conclusion of the event”. On concluding note, Mr. Asif Majid said; “this is going to be a big event for Memons I would urge every Memon to come and visit this Grand Bachat Bazaar. This year we are expecting around 10000 to 15000 visitors which will make this event even more grandeur then last year’s event”.
