Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, Senior Vice President, Government Sales, Etisalat, said: “We are pleased to collaborate with Alef Education to empower the UAE’s and regions’ education sector in line with our overall strategy of ‘Driving the digital future to empower societies’. This programme will enable K-12 education institutions to have access to Etisalat Digital portfolio, including our IoT platform, cloud technologies, and managed services, to accelerate future learning with technology, connectivity and digital services.”

Within the MOU framework, both companies will join efforts to accelerate digital transformation in the education sector both in the UAE and other key geographies including KSA. Etisalat Digital through its advanced managed services will aim to support Alef Education in their existing deployment as well as explore synergies in markets where Etisalat Digital can bring the infrastructure, connectivity and services to power the Alef program in the K-12 education sector. Additionally, Etisalat Digital and Alef Education will identify opportunities to get access to leading-edge platforms including IoT, Cloud technologies and 5G networks to improve service offering at schools.
